Old town centre of Portoferraio and the port connections
During the summer months there is a Shuttle Bus service connecting the old town centre of Portoferraio with the port.
This completely free service is organised by the town of Portoferraio in collaboration with the local Bus Company, and has the following timetable: from Mondays to Saturdays, every ten minutes, from 7.15 to 14.30 and from 16.40 to 20.00, with free stops along Viale Zambelli.
There are also other paying services connecting the old town centre with the two beaches of Biodola and Viticcio (info ATL 0565.914783/392), and a boat service to and from Portoferraio-Biodola (info 339.2439465-349.0914658).
