The Laconella campsite is situated on the Island of Elba, in the National
Park of the Tuscan Archipelago in the Mediterranean sea, and covers an
area of 20,000 square metres over the promontory of Punta Contessa, between
the beautiful beaches of Lacona and Laconella.
The direct management of the campsite on the part of the owners (with
over twenty years of experience) guarantees top-quality service. More
than half the guests in the campsite are regulars who have been coming
annually for the past ten years, and as such represent a guarantee of
satisfaction for newcomers.
The characteristics of any camping depend on its geographic position
and type of management. Thanks to our favourable location and the way
we run the site, we represent the ideal camping holiday for those who
love nature, sea, sun (if desired), peace and quiet, cleanliness (both
regarding the facilities and the avenues and plots), friendliness and
comfort (including direct access to the beaches and inland walks, as well
as a range of convenient facilities inside and nearby the site).
 The
campsite is furnished with 107 plots of various dimensions, according
to the size of the vehicle and/or tent; all the plots offer the use of
electricity. Some of the plots face the sea while others are situated
more inland, immersed in a rich vegetation of eucalyptus trees, cluster
pines, cultivated pines, holm-oaks, lentisk, mimosa… The plots are
separated by geranium and butterbush hedging. For the entire holiday season
one person is assigned solely to the care and cleaning of the plots.
Free of charge for campers are the use of barbecues, bicycles, a bowling
green, table tennis and a small soccer field; for small children there
is a well-equipped play area. Washing machines are available to campers.
The site also offers the use of its own nearby mini-golf circuit.
With the exception of the period from July 15 to August 20 pets are welcome.
The campsite is open from March 15 to October 31.
Reservations are accepted for the whole season
from January on.
