The hotel is set in the midst of a magnificent green landscape, the ideal place for a relaxing holiday where the sea is "really" just outside your door: three hundred paces through the countryside will take you to the beach, two hundred to the cliffs.

The Tuscan Archipelago National Park covers the northwest point of the Island of Elba, which is the most beautiful and best conserved area of the entire island - ideal for snorkeling, diving and kayaking.

The mountains that surround the gulf of Cape Sant'Andrea offer the possibility to go hiking, mountain biking, bird watching and free climbing, and are of great botanical interest.

The Boutique Hotel Ilio was founded in this natural paradise in 1959. It set up the ELBATUTTANATURA ® project in 1989, becoming the first "all-nature" boutique hotel on the Island of Elba.

Our goal is to give our guests the opportunity to take full advantage of the nature that surrounds us. This is why we offer customized hospitality (just 20 rooms of 9 different categories: lemon, green, garden, blue, sea, oleander, Sant'Andrea, Tuscan, bougainvillea and... exquisite Elban cuisine).

"Pomegranate", "Lemon", "Geranium", etc. are the names of our rooms. Such names are not fruit of our imagination, but real. In fact, all you need to do is to look out of your window or balcony to admire the plant that gives your room its name.
