The apartment "Tramontana" can heated by a modern, wood fired stove and is also available for winter rents (winter fuel supplied by the proprietor).
The proprietor's barbeque is available for guests to use.
San Piero is a characteristic hill town, full of history and yet in-keeping with the times where amenities range from pizzerias and restaurants to greengrocer's, bakery and butcher's shops, all within easy reach, just a few steps from the apartment.
The newsagent's and tobacconist's are open daily.
For history lovers, the nearby Pisan Fortress and Church of San Nicolò as well as the splendid panorama from the Bel Vedere (where the apartment is located) can all be enjoyed.
A small, children's playground is just a few yards from the apartment.
