The sheer cliff face plunging into the sea, the vegetation growing onto the
beach and the black sand and tiny pebbles combine to make this beach very unusual.
The car park is situated on one of the hills overhanging the beach and there
are few parking spaces available.
The panorama from here encompasses all the coast of Capoliveri, from Acquarili
beach on the left to Norsi on the right following through to the Gemini islands
in front of the Innamorata beach.
The path leading to the beach is quite steep and tricky to get down. The transparency of the water reflected from the seabed as you look down from above is breathtaking. The beach is divided into two parts by some cliffs. The second beach is largely for naturists.
Here you will be unable to find any type of services or facilities. Because the beach is mainly made up of black pebbles and sands it does get very hot, we suggest you take an umbrella with you to offer shade on the way down to the beach.
