Dominated by the Forte Focardo lighthouse, this beach is easy to reach from Capoliveri and from the main provincial road to Mola. From the beach there is a breathtaking view of Porto Azzurro and the ancient Spanish Fortress, now a prison.
Close to the beach there are numerous tourist accommodation structures. Tourists who are not guests of hotels in the area may find it difficult to park their cars in the height of the season.
