Viticcio beach, with its many delightful little coves, overlooks the Gulf of Viticcio and is only 6 km from Portoferraio.
This resort, which can be reached by car following the road signs, is also served by local transport. Three short paths, in the immediate vicinity of the hotels in the area, lead to the quiet beaches.
Those beaches without facilities (the restaurants and bars are run by the hotels and are anyhow on the road), are ideal for anyone wanting to stay far from "the madding crowds" and enjoy a relaxing day by the sea.
