A new way to get to Elba 'low cost' could be to get the new sea-link Piombino-Cavo, available from
June 2010. It will be possible to get to Elba with only 29,00 Euros for one car and one
passenger. This rate will be available for the whole year, including the busy months of July and
August. This special offer can be booked online and from all the Moby's offices. This is a very
interesting news for all the people that intend to stay in hotels in the eastern part of the island such
as Cavo, Rio Marina and Porto Azzurro, or for all those that would like to see the eastern part of the
island before getting to an hotel on the other side. It is to be said that considering the time and the
curvy road to get to Porto Azzurro, for those who want to reach the central or south-western part of
the island might be easier to get the main sea link Piombino-Portoferraio, even if this means a few
more Euros.
