Diving centres on Elba
Elba is a paradise for divers. Along the coasts of the island there are countless places for diving immersions. Most of them can be reached by boat and a few can be reached directly from shore. The depths will amaze you for the variety of small and big fish, micro-organisms and marine flora. Experienced diving guides will come with you, from the easier to the deepest immersions, according to your experience and level, they will excite you and make you love this sport as well as guide you to discover our clear sea depths.
All the diving centres on the island have prepared and authorised
guides that will dive with you and most of the centres have diving courses
for all levels, from the "blue baptism" to the more advanced
levels,
for night diving, diving on relicts, deep diving, with NITROX, with wet suits
and with final diver’s
licence.
Most of the centres are along the coasts of the island and the schools have
PADI, NAUI, SSI, SCUBA, NASDS courses, they cover more or less all the teaching
methods.

You can go to any diving centre or to any sport shops where they rent diving material: a lot of these do the recharge service.
Would you like to know where are the best diving sites? You can easily find diving guide books in newsagents or in specialized shops, or in the diving centres, with GPS coordinates. You can find some of the best diving sites on our website too.
Are you an instructor who needs to organise some divings with your diving
students? A lot of the diving centres have motor boats that could be useful.
Contact them.
And for your peace of mind, the hospital on the island has a hyperbaric
chambre and doctors specialized in hyperbaric medicine.
