Although the car park is close to the beach, it is small and only able to accommodate a few vehicles.
Of particular interest is the wreck of the Elviscot, a small cargo boat that was shipwrecked in 1972 after a violent storm. It was washed up on to the Ogliera rock, a few metres from the beach. It now lies 12 metres deep and is a popular spot for scuba-divers.
