Note: Because of the splendid position of this small but well-known tourist resort, Capo S. Andrea (in the background of the photo), gets very crowded and is a favourite spot for those who like to sunbathe on the rocks and spend a peaceful holiday. Here you can choose between the sandy beach, which offers excellent facilities, or the stretch of smooth granitic rocky coast, ideal for sunbathing, on the left of the sandy shore, where there is also a little jetty.
You cannot miss a swim with mask and flippers to discover the incomparable attractions of the surrounding seabed.
The same applies to the right side of the beach, where an enchanting little sandy beach “Cotoncello” (in the foreground of the photo,), surrounded by typical Mediterranean vegetation, completes the picture of this delightful and picturesque stretch of coastline.
