Note: A small sandy beach separated from the
longer Biodola beach by a short walkway over the rocks.
Head along the main road from Portoferraio towards Marina di Campo
and after 6 km, turn right for La Biodola. A short distance before
reaching Biodola beach, a signposted turning to the right indicates
the beach.
The car-park (for which a charge is made) is small and the only alternative
is to leave your car along the roadside.
The beach has good facilities and in the evening one can admire a
magnificent sunset over the island of Capraia.
