Webcams on Island of Elba
Our Webcam is positioned on the Hotel *** Villa Ombrosa in Portoferraio, which is in front of the beach of white pebbles "Le Ghiaie".
On your left hand side you can see Lo Scoglietto, the islet with the lighthouse that is less than a mile far from the coast. Its depths are well known as one of the best sites for diving in the whole of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The waters in front
of the beach belong from 1971 (D.M. del 10/08/71) to an area of biological conservation, here it is forbidden to fish (apart from the beach with line), the area goes from Lo Scoglietto, to Punta Falcone and then to Capo Bianco. The area
includes the beaches of Le Viste, Le Ghiaie and Padulella.
