Departure (and arrival) of buses is in the bus station in the port in Portoferraio, right next to where the ferries from Piombino come in, or in Calata Matteotti.

PRONTOBUS Call Service

This service operates in the Municipality of Portoferraio and covers the areas of: Hospital – Cemetery – Via Ninci – San Rocco – Villa dei Mulini – Carpani – Albereto – V. Manganaro (Post Office).

The service is available every weekday from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm..

To make a reservation, call 335 1921966 at least half an hour before your trip, arrange the departure time from one of the stops in the served areas, state your destination, and, if needed, your return trip. Reservations can also be made a day in advance or for multiple days with a single call. The service is fee-based.
