To Elba by bus: direct buses to the port of Piombino

Besides getting to the Island of Elba by car, by train and by plane, you can also travel by coach to and from Piombino Marittima - the ferry port to Elba - to Florence, Grosseto and Milan (with coaches also leaving from San Giuliano Milanese, Melegnano, Lodi, Casalpusterlengo and Piacenza).

The Florence-Piombino Marittima service is run by BusItalia SITA and TIEMME Piombino, that has taken the place of the previous ES link, and runs in connection with the trains coming from Bologna, Venice, Milan and Rome.

On the island there is a public bus service that covers the whole territory.
