Elba by bus: from Poggibonsi and Siena to Piombino Marittima
During the summer period, the Mare Bus service of Tiemme Line M2 is active between Poggibonsi, Siena, and Piombino Marittima (with other intermediate stops). From Siena, it takes about 2 hours and 40 minutes to reach the Piombino port, the departure point for embarking on the ferry to the Island of Elba.
