Oglasa: Toremar shipping company ferry to the Island of Elba

Built in 1980 by Fincantieri - Italian Shipbuilders S.p.A. from Palermo, this ship has always belonged to Toremar.
In Spring 2012 it was completely overhauled by the Palumbo Shipbuilders in Naples.

The ship is 91 metres long, 16 metres wide, has 4 metres draught, weighs 2389 tons, and can carry up to 530 passengers and 101 vehicles.

The renovation work done in 2012 concerns the public areas like the passenger reception room and the decks, the floors, the ceilings and the loungers, the bar and all the easy chairs, as well as the hull, the entire bottom and upper works, the generators and main motors, the alarm system and the generator monitoring system, the propellers and stabilizing fins to make the ship safer and the crossing more comfortable.
The batteries for the air conditioning inside the reception room have also been renovated.
