How to get to the station in Piombino Marittima by train

To take the ferry to the Island of Elba, whether arriving from the North or South, you need to reach the port of Piombino, where there is the small Piombino Marittima train station and the bus station, both located in front of the ferry embarkation areas.

For train schedules, you need to consult the Trenitalia website, ensuring you input Piombino Marittima as the arrival station (and not Piombino).

Some train lines end at Campiglia Marittima, where you need to change trains or take an Autolinee Toscane bus that reaches Piombino Marittima in just 20 minutes.

Attention: On Trenitalia, bus results for the Campiglia Marittima – Piombino Porto route are not displayed!

The bus departure is from the area in front of the Campiglia Marittima Train Station. The train ticket also includes the bus connection. The bus ticket costs €2.10 for a one-way trip and €3.00 if purchased onboard.
