Liquors from Elba

Just like most of the typical products from Elba, the liquors too smell of the essence of the land. 

Among the many absolute delicacies that both tourists and locals love, we can name without a doubt Myrtle liquor that is made from myrtle berries from Elba as well as made from myrtle berries with a mixture of herbs, grown in the Medterranean bush, added to it to enhance the flavour: catmint, wild fennel seeds and mint.

In Elba the traditional Limoncino and Arancino are also made following very old procedures, as are Ciliegino and Licorice liquor.

Over the years, the production of liquors has greatly increased with the addition of other liquors, creams and grappas that have the perfume of fruits and local, wild herbs.

From the grape marcs that are the origin of the DOCG Aleatico Passito wine made in many wine cellars you also get the Aleatico grappa and, last but not least, you also get a liquor made from wild herbs, a brandy and a gin as well as a very original beer brandy whose flavour, as always, is enhanced by the addition of local, first class products.
