Ferry ticket from Piombino to Cavo at only 29 euros

A "low cost" ferry ticket to Elba is a reality: take advantage of the new, Piombino-Cavo crossing, in force since June 2010, and you can buy your ticket for Elba for only 29 euros; the ticket is valid for one car plus one passenger.

The fixed price is valid all year round, including the peak season months of July and August.

You can book this special offer ticket on line only, or if you prefer, at any of the Port or Moby offices.

Not just very appealing to those who will be staying on the eastern side of the island, in Cavo, Rio Marina or Porto Azzurro, but also to those staying elsewhere but dont mind seeing half the island before arriving at their hotel. Please bear in mind, however, that if you're staying in the central or south western part, the road from Cavo to Porto Azzurro is quite long and full of bends, so it would be much more practical to come over on the Piombino - Portoferraio crossing even though it costs a few euros more.
