The Island of Elba is linked to the port of Piombino thanks to four different shipping companies: Moby Lines, Toremar, Blu Navy and Corsica Sardinia Ferries.

All four shipping companies use fleets of ferries and hydrofoils that carry both passengers on foot as well as vehicles.

But how many vehicles do they have room for?

The ferries to and from Elba carry up to an average of 116 vehicles. The largest ferry is the Blu Navy Acciarello that can carry up to 230 vehicles while the smallest is the Vesta, operating in January, February and March, that has room "only" for 75 vehicles.
