The story of Ristorante La Caravella begins in 1949, when Aladino, a master shipwright, sailor, and fisherman, decided to share with the first tourists of the Isle of Elba the fruit of his nets: fresh fish, caught every morning. Since 1980, the family tradition has been carried on with dedication by Consuelo, his granddaughter, and her husband Mino.
With the same passion as Aladino, they offer a meticulously prepared typical Elban cuisine.
The menu at Ristorante La Caravella varies with the seasons, but some dishes have become particularly famous and beloved among customers. These include the Cacciucco, reinterpreted with an Elban twist, the unique Risotto alla Caravella, and the Tagliolini all'Ammiraglia. Grilled fish, baked fish, and mixed fried fish represent other specialties that celebrate the freshness and quality of the seafood.
