The Ristorante SALEGROSSO is located in a corner of the charming little square “di sotto” in Marciana Marina, near the alleys of the characteristic Cotone district.
Opened in 2017, it has quickly earned a place among the excellences of Elban cuisine.

The restaurant is run with kindness by Cristiano and Andrea, who have created a place where warm hospitality is both polite and welcoming, and where the dishes are prepared with seasonal ingredients and fresh fish from the fishermen’s boats moored nearby.
Ristorante SALEGROSSO offers a Mediterranean cuisine, strongly inspired by the local territory and enriched by the personal reinterpretations of the young chef Luca.
Raw fish dishes have always been one of their specialties.
The wine list also adds that extra touch which turns the restaurant into a true destination for taste.
Inside the restaurant, the beautiful stone floor of the old warehouses has been preserved, while the bright veranda offers a view of the sea in all its shades of blue.
In the evening, guests can enjoy the sunset with the backdrop of the ancient Tower, as the sky is painted with shades of orange, red and purple.
Since 2020, Ristorante SALEGROSSO has been listed in the prestigious MICHELIN Guide and is also featured in the Gambero Rosso Guide with 79 points and 1 fork.
Open for lunch and dinner, the restaurant closes on Mondays only in the low season; during the high season, it is open every day.
