Ristoro dell'Amandolo is considered one of the best restaurants on Isola d'Elba, in one of the most picturesque locations, offering views of the woods, countryside and an unforgettable sunset over the sea, in a truly unique, distinctive setting in the open air.

Located near Cavo, in the municipality of Rio, about 1.2 km away, at the top of Colle a Vita, it overlooks the valley where the farm stay is located, facing west-northwest.

Reservations are greatly appreciated and, at certain times, necessary.

The cuisine is based on local traditions, naturally featuring fish, and offers a single menu that changes every evening: it includes an aperitif and small entrée, 3 appetizer tastings, a first course, main course, dessert and digestif.

Only wines from Elba are served, presented by an AIS Sommelier, while the food also makes predominant use of local products, the farm's own olive oil and vegetables, and locally caught fish. The menu likewise focuses, albeit with some reinterpretations, on traditional dishes of Elban cuisine, especially those from Rio, which plays a distinctly prominent role in the island's culinary tradition.

Tables are not turned over, and the number of guests is kept at a level that ensures efficient and unhurried service, with the aim of offering guests an evening a little different from that of a traditional restaurant, with an unforgettable view, where the colours and scents of the lush landscape typical of Elba inevitably contribute to the experience, in a place naturally endowed with romance and the positive energy of the surrounding nature.
