Historical places to get married in on the Island of Elba

Many couples choose to celebrate their wedding in an elegant, historical place, surrounded by an enchanting atmosphere so that both they and their guests will never forget the event.

The municipality of Rio, on the eastern side of the island, has chosen several of the most beautiful, historical places on the territory, all with a taste of the past that enchants everyone to the full.

One example are the Public Wash Houses in Rio nell'Elba that are in a very suggestive setting with an almost magical and enchanting halo all around it; the Appiani Tower in Rio Marina is equally interesting, just like the historical Garibaldi Theatre, often called the "Teatrino" (little theatre) where concerts, exhibitions and cultural meetings are held.

In Marciana, for example, the large walls around the fortress are also very popular if you want to celebrate a wedding. In short, very suggestive settings for meetings, exhibitions and dinner parties but also a place to escape to if a couple wish to make their love come true.
