A small wild cove between Barabarca and Stecchi Due

Barabarchina beach is a small cove located on the southern coast of the Isola d'Elba, in the municipality of Capoliveri, between Barabarca beach and Stecchi Due beach. Hidden among the rocks and surrounded by Mediterranean scrub, it is one of the quietest and most secluded spots along this stretch of coast.

The beach is just over 20 metres long and consists of fine gravel and small pebbles, alternating with striking rocky outcrops. The sea is particularly clear and takes on beautiful shades ranging from turquoise to deep blue, thanks to the mixed sandy and rocky seabed.

The shape of the bay, protected by large rocky slabs, makes this an ideal place for those seeking relaxation and tranquillity even in the summer months. The seabed, rich in rocks and marine life, is perfect for snorkeling enthusiasts. The surrounding rocks are not suitable for sunbathing, as they are very sharp and uneven.

Barabarchina is a beach without facilities and retains a completely natural appearance. For this reason, it is advisable to bring water and everything needed for the day, helping to preserve this small unspoilt corner of Elba.

How to get to Barabarchina beach

Barabarchina beach is accessible only by sea.

There are no public accesses by land, as the area behind it borders private properties. In addition, there are no car parks or suitable spaces nearby for parking scooters or motorbikes. For this reason, the beach remains accessible only by sea and is ideal as a stop during a canoe, kayak or SUP excursion.
