Dog-friendly beach on Elba: the Mola Dog Beach

 The Mola Dog Beach, in the municipality of Porto Azzurro, is the only officially designated dog-friendly beach on the Island of Elba. Created in 2006, it offers an equipped area where visitors can spend a pleasant day by the sea with their four-legged friend.

The area is located on the left-hand side of  Mola beach, on the eastern side of the island, and is easily accessible both on foot and by car. The area reserved for four-legged friends covers approximately 500 m² and is organised like a fully equipped beach establishment.

The Dog Beach has approximately 20 beach umbrellas, 40 deckchairs, 7 changing cabins and 2 portable toilets, one of which is accessible to people with disabilities. There are also facilities and equipment to help owners take the best possible care of their dogs during their time on the beach.

Mola beach is therefore a particularly convenient option for anyone choosing to spend a holiday on the Island of Elba with their dog without giving up days by the sea in the company of their pet.
