Beaches that are sheltered from the ostro wind (South)

The Austro wind (from the south), also known as Ostro, is a gentle but very warm and damp wind, often followed by rain. The beaches that are most sheltered from the Ostro wind are mostly those on the northern side of Elba, thanks to the formation of the coastline and the numerous deep creeks.
