Cavo is the most famous tourist destination on this side of the Island of Elba. The Cavo beach stretches along a long stretch of coastline (about 420 meters) from the pier to the rocky promontory topped by Villa Tonietti and is bordered by a beautiful seafront adorned with palm trees and sculptures.
Curiosity: The beach is also called Lo Chalet by the locals of Cavo.
The beach is made up of fine sand and small white pebbles, and in the sea, there are two breakwaters made of flat rocks, which allow sunbathing and admiring the transparency of the sea.
Cavo beach offers numerous services, including a beach establishment, umbrella and deckchair rentals, and, due to its proximity to the village, various shops, bars, and restaurants.
From the beach, you can enjoy a pleasant panorama of Piombino and the island of Palmaiola, just 3 kilometers away.
The beach is ideal for those who want to spend a pleasant day at the beach in a vacation-like and relaxed atmosphere, also perfect for families with children, thanks to the gently sloping fine gravel seabed and the wonderful sea.
Due to its proximity to the village and the presence of all the services, the beach is very popular.
