The Seccheto Beach is about 130 meters long and up to 40 meters wide. It is located along the Costa del Sole, halfway between the beaches of Cavoli and Fetovaia, surrounded by beautiful cliffs.
It is made of gravelly sand, a characteristic common to the beaches on the western side of Elba, and opens up to a charming bay facing south. Behind it, the imposing mass of Mount Capanne protects it from all northern winds.
A small cove on the right side of the beach (also accessible by car) is used for launching boats and small vessels.
The beach is known for its tranquility and is particularly perfect for families. Due to its easy accessibility, sandy shore, and the services and amenities available in the small village behind it, the beach is suitable for children. Part of the beach is occupied by a small beach club, which ensures safety and lifeguard services on the beach and the water in front, and offers bar service, showers, and toilets.
The only precaution to take when entering the sea is to be cautious of the pebbles and rocks protruding from the sand.
For those seeking relaxation, Seccheto also offers a series of smooth granite cliffs perfect for sunbathing.
On the left, accessible via a path starting from the provincial road, a series of granite slabs called Le Conche descend gently into the sea, forming comfortable coves to immerse in the water.
On the right, after the small boat launch area, there are Le Piscine, a series of nearly flat granite slabs that fill with seawater, forming natural pools. Perfect for sunbathing or taking a dip in the incredibly blue sea, these have been a popular destination for naturists for many years.
Seccheto Beach is located near the village, about 6 km from Marina di Campo, and is easily accessible by car, or by bus with the Island of Elba transport service, following the many road signs along the entire western ring road of the island.
It is recommended to park the car in the spaces along the provincial road and walk to the beach as there is limited parking available.
