Between the two well-known Zuccale beaches and Barabarca, in the municipality of Capoliveri, lies a beautiful stretch of smooth, pale rocks sloping down towards a clear sea with vivid colours, from the turquoise of the shallow seabed to the deep blue of the open sea.
It is a secluded and peaceful place, surrounded by Mediterranean scrub and barely visible from above, ideal for anyone looking for a private spot away from the crowds on the nearby beaches. The rocks, broad and gently sloping, invite you to lie in the sun and slip into crystal-clear waters, perfect for swimming or snorkelling, with a rocky seabed rich in marine life.
From the cliffs, the view opens out over the wide Golfo Stella and the hilly outline of the coast, offering a bright, relaxing panorama throughout the day until sunset.
Thanks to its privacy and the secluded nature of the area, this is one of the places on Elba where naturism (FKK) is tolerated.
How to reach the cliffs between Zuccale and Barabarca
Follow the same route to Barabarca beach. About 20 metres before the steps leading down to the beach, on the right, through the wooden fence, take a path that crosses the Mediterranean scrub and reaches the cliffs in just a few minutes.
