Unfortunately, at the Island of Elba, there has not yet been a proper and reliable survey on the actual accessibility of beaches, places, and services. Our experience, along with advice from some of our friends, has led us to select a few beaches, facilities, museums, and monuments where you can access without any difficulty.
Beach and Facility Accessibility
Hotel and Residence Acacie in Naregno is a fully accessible structure, with eight spacious, comfortable rooms that are also suitable for people with severe disabilities. The Elba in Love Beach Club, located in front of the hotel, provides a ramp and job chair for beach access. In Capoliveri, the Albatros & Drago Elba in Love Beach Club on Morcone Beach is also equipped with disabled access via certified walkways down to the sea, a bathroom for disabled individuals, an outdoor shower accessible by wheelchair, and a job chair.
On the northern side, Procchio Beach is equipped with a job chair and special cabins and bathrooms located on the beach at the end of the avenue that connects the beach to the town. At the facility owned by Hotel La Perla del Golfo, another job chair is available. Near the beach, there is also a tactile map for the visually impaired, representing the Gulf of Procchio.
Another job chair is provided by the Il Pino Solitario beach club, located on the beautiful Fetovaia Beach.
In Marciana Marina, a section of the beach has been equipped with a wooden ramp accessible by wheelchair, with umbrellas, lounge chairs, special cabins, and a job chair placed on it. From the ramp, a walkway allows for easy access to the sea.

Accessibility of Museums and Monuments
The Napoleonic Residences are partially accessible. It is easy to visit the ground floor of Villa San Martino (which houses the Demidoff Gallery) and Villa dei Mulini, but to visit the first floor, you must climb a staircase.
