The best months for some peace and quiet on the Island of Elba

Excluding the busiest periods, the ideal months to find tranquility, well-being, and warm but pleasant weather are March, April, May, June, September, and October.

The climate is extremely mild and pleasant, the Island of Elba is not yet too crowded, the museums and mines are still relatively quiet, and it's possible to take wonderful walks through the lush nature filled with colors and scents.

The most convenient towns with nearby beaches and services are definitely Marina di Campo with its beautiful golden beach, Portoferraio with its Napoleonic museums and main historical and archaeological sites, Porto Azzurro, with its beautiful square, and Marciana Marina with its long seafront promenade.

Almost all the three- and four-star hotels offer half-board, and if you don't want to bring your car, the public transport connects the main towns on the island.
