The Small Mine came to life thanks to an idea of Emilio Giacomelli, who for over 40 years has worked with precious stones and created his workshop for cutting ,jewellery of every type and shape.
Once inside the Small Mine and the Etruscan Mineral Mine you will follow a route that leads you to the mining origins and traditions on the Island of Elba. The complete tour includes a visit to the mine, to the Etruscan mineral museum and a free tasting of the different typical Elba products in our bar/wine shop.
