Inside the famous Church of Saint Anthony you can visit the permanent exhibition entitled "Il Ritorno del Guerriero" ("The Return of the Warrior") which shows numerous important archaeological relics that were found both on the island and also in the sea around it.

Among these, the most significant come from the so called Tomb 13, found just off the eastern side of the Church of Santa Maria Assunta during the excavation work in 1983.

Inside they found what remained of a skeleton and also some funeral equipment consisting of two belt buckles of various sizes made of golden bronze studded with almandine and bronze nails on the sides to secure the belt on; an iron sword with a wooden case whose opening had a bronze plate covered in silver and that is decorated with a medal decorated with ovoid lines alongside parallel zig zag engravings; aniron knife which also had a wooden case.

What is left of the skeleton and the funeral equipment lead us to believe the burial was of a soldier aged from 25-30, aproximately 174 cm tall, probably not from the island but possibly French belonging to the Avito Imperial army and who died in the battle of Corsica in 456 d.C. fighting against a vandal fleet that set off from Cartagine to loot Gaul or Italy.
