Elba MTB Lacona is located within Residence il Mandorlo, one of the facilities affiliated with Elba Bike Hotels. Like all Elba MTB locations, it is open to both guests and non-guests of the property. Centrally located on the island, it is ideal for easily reaching all the most beautiful beaches on Elba. A well-maintained residence managed directly by the owners (Mountain Bike enthusiasts), where you can always feel at home and part of the family.
The services offered range from a guide service for experienced bikers, with routes ranging from Gravel to Enduro, to experiences for beginners, available during the day, at sunset and even at night. There are also MTB courses and an efficient Bike-Shuttle service.
Elba MTB is the summer base of the 365mountainbike portal.
Elba MTB was founded in 2012 thanks to the initiative of Andrea Saielli, owner of Residence Il Mandorlo. Over the years, the project has expanded, growing and developing to include new locations such as Elba MTB Capoliveri and Elba MTB Portoferraio.
All Elba MTB facilities work together to provide the highest level of service.
The central location is ideal for those wishing to undertake the tour around the island, a 5-stage travelling tour to discover all the areas of Elba. Our guides, all certified by the Italian Cycling Federation (FCI) and experienced in the world of MTB, both competitive and recreational, will lead you along the best routes on the island. Davide Finetto, Vittoria Spada and Gabriele Maio will accompany you on adventures in both Gravel/Cross Country and Enduro.
For Bike Tour enthusiasts, Elba MTB Lacona offers routes suitable for both experienced and beginner bikers. Experienced riders can take on the trails of Monte Capanne and Monte Perone, which hosted the 2024 Italian Enduro Championship, organised by ASD Elba Ovest. The Grande Pedalata Elbana (GPE) and Elba Super Trail are also two highly appreciated experiences among experienced bikers who want to cross the Isola d’Elba by MTB. The GPE features a 90 km route with an elevation gain of 2,300 metres, perfect for cyclists who enjoy long rides and are looking for a real challenge; it is not an easy goal to achieve in a single day, but is extremely rewarding for those who like to test themselves. The Elba Super Trail is particularly popular with enduro riders, who find its technical and demanding descents a genuine challenge to overcome, although completing the entire route in a single day is a real feat.
The Bike Center offers accommodation within Residence il Mandorlo. The family atmosphere of this small residence ensures guests a truly relaxing holiday without compromising on the professionalism of a well-organised, comfortable and fully functional property, with apartments and rooms equipped with every comfort, a splendid swimming pool where you can relax, and a bar, ideal for starting the day with a delicious breakfast or enjoying an aperitif at sunset. Younger guests have several dedicated play areas at their disposal, while bikers will find everything they need for a truly unforgettable holiday on two wheels.
