In October, in the fantastic natural setting of Monte Calamita, the Capoliveri Legend Cup takes place.

Over the years, this event has grown significantly in importance. Since 2016, it has debuted in the UCI World Marathon Series International Circuit, bringing back a world-class mountain bike race to the island that had been missing from Elba for several years.

For those who do not want to face the challenging Marathon course, there is the Granfondo course, 50 km with 1,700 m of elevation gain, which is also highly spectacular.

The Capoliveri Legend Cup, in addition to the already mentioned UCI World Marathon Series, is also valid for the FCI Marathon Tour and Coppa Toscana circuits.

The Capoliveri Bike Park represents the cycling oasis of Elba, with five permanent trails of varying difficulty and length that can be combined with each other, covering more than 100 km. The trails are identified by a color and marked with specific signs that provide necessary information (the trail name, the direction to follow, a number referring to the point where the sign is located so it can be found on the map, and the name of the locality where it is located).

Also included in the event is the Chiassi Cup, an exciting short race eliminator, held along the alleys (chiassi) and stairways of the historic center of Capoliveri on the Friday before the Capoliveri Legend Cup.
