Corri Seccheto
A short but challenging race
The Corri Seccheto race is a non competitive running race held in June; it was held for the first time in 2006 and is organised by the La Ginestra Cultural Club.
The distance covered is about 7 km and although it is quite short, it is however very challenging partly because you have to keep going up and down a mountain road and partly because the temperature at this time of the year is always rather high.
It is yet another chance for Elba runners - and not only - to find out not only just how fit they really are, but also to discover many of the breathtakingly beautiful areas on the island as they run through the lush, Mediterranean bush.
