Libeccio Trail - Sant'Andrea

The adventure of trail running and the joys of the Island of Elba at one of the best times of the year.

The Libeccio Trail race is held at the height of the spring when all the flowers of the Mediterranean bush are in full bloom; it is along a breathtaking route on the granite cliffs on the western side of Elba, and, due to the season, is more often than not under a burning sun. The entire route is 15 km with a D+800 long, and you run with the sea below and the higher parts of western Elba above you, from Sant'Andrea towards the ancient paths of the Tuscan Archipelago National Park, along granite cliffs, through the Mediterranean bush and among chestnut trees that are centuries old.

A unique and very exciting adventure, a challenging and very suggestive race surrounded by breathtaking scenery like Monte Giove and the numerous, tiny inlets along the coast on this part of the island.
