The excursion starts from Enfola beach on the northern side that in the past was where the most important tuna fishing nets on the Island of Elba were.
The coast is very rugged, but thanks to the small size and low draft of kayaks, you can sail amidst the rocks no problem and fully appreciate the suggestive crystal clear water along this part of the coast.
In no time you will get to the majestic cliffabove Sansone beach, a natural arch that, the moment you have gone under, the incredible beauty of the white cliffs, so typical of this coastline right to Portoferraio, will appear before your very eyes. The brilliant white sea bed makes the water seem even more crystal clear, probably the clearest in all the island, and gives you the impression you are floating in mid air, and precisely this clearness of the water enables you to observe the many different species of tiny fish therein.
The first beach you will get to is in fact Sansone, a stretch of white pebbles at the foot of a breathtakingly beautiful cliff, considered one of the most beautiful beaches on the island.
The next beach you will see is Sorgente, and this beach too is set like a jewel among the white cliffs that are so typical of this part of the coast.
Here you will often see seagulls and shags that, above all during the spring, flock around the cliffs and build their nests.
Next you will get to Acquaviva then finally Seccione where, if you want, you can go in for a swim before you head back for where you started.
