Elba Rally

As far as lovers of sports and motors are concerned, the Island of Elba Rally has always had great fascination both for the island itself and for motor racing lovers.

The history of this race is one of the most importantand, since it goes back as far as 1968, also one of the oldest in the world. Very popular both on a national and a European level, when the race was held over various types of road surfaces, over the years the enthusiasm has greatly grown: in the past it had been little more than a tour then in 2007  it was given a new lease of life and became first an IRCup then WRC Italian Championship then in 2018 it was held again and was classified as CIR (Italian Rally Campionship), the most important rally race in Italy.

The Elba Rally represents both a historical and sporting patrimony that belongs not only to Italy but that also has some international touches. Abroad, very few Italian races are looked upon as a "must" and something not to be missed both by the actual racers who take part as well as those who are involved in the preparation, and above all lovers of rallies. One major association is the Eally Island of Elba. 

As far as the people from Elba are concerned, even just the word "rally" brings out an everlasting love.

The race is usually held from the end of April to the month of May.
