Programme Edition 2019

Since the first edition in 1997, the Elba Island of Europe Music Festival has become an important, international event that offers a wide and very varied choice of concerts: symphony and choir programmes, recitals, jazz music, dance shows and concert syle operas.

For the 23rd edition, to be held from August 28th to September 9th  10 concerts will be held in Portoferraio, at the Renato Cioni Vigilanti Theatre, in the Hermitage Hotel, in the Medicean Fortress at the Falcone Fortress, in the De Laugier Cloisters and in the Roman Villa delle Grotte.

Besides in Portoferraio, the concerts will also be held in the Church of Santa Chiara in Marciana Marina, the Church of Saint Giacomo and Saint Quirico in Rio nell'Elba, in the Pisan fortress in Marciana and on the Island of Pianosa.

This year, for three days, the Elba Festival welcomes the Villa Musica, the chamber music of the International Academy of Magonza oprn to exceptionally talented young musicians.
