In 2020, the Elba Island Musical Festival returns with even greater strength and a strong belief in the importance of music and culture.
The historic event, now in its 24th edition, demonstrates its vitality by planning a concert series that will feature, from September 2nd to 8th, famous artists from both the national and international scene, such as pianist Andrea Lucchesini, cellists Mario Brunello and Raphael Bell, violinists Giuliano Carmignola and Boris Garlitsky, violist Sào Soulez Larivière, and trumpeter Enrico Rava.
With the precious support of the Municipality of Portoferraio, which has always stood by the Festival, and in collaboration with other municipalities on the island, the event will be organized into six concerts, three of which will take place in Portoferraio, one in Rio dell'Elba, one in Marciana Marina, and one in Marciana.
All events will be held outdoors, in full compliance with distancing and safety regulations, and will be streamed live on the Festival's Facebook page and on the Festival website.
