In the small seaside village of Cavo, on the north-eastern coast of the Island of Elba, Cavo Diving has been guiding divers and sea lovers to discover the island’s underwater world for more than forty years. Active since 1985, the centre is a well-established reference point for those wishing to experience scuba diving on Elba in a professional and welcoming environment.
The diving centre offers guided dives, SSI scuba courses, discover scuba diving experiences and snorkeling excursions, suitable both for beginners approaching the underwater world for the first time and for certified divers looking for new dive sites.
Diving experiences for every level
The eastern coast of the Island of Elba is known for its rich marine life and varied seabeds, with rocky walls, small caves, shoals and sandy areas where many Mediterranean species can be observed. Each outing is organised according to the participants’ level of experience and sea conditions, selecting the most suitable dive sites to ensure safety and enjoyment. Dives are carried out in small groups, allowing instructors and guides to follow each participant carefully and create a relaxed and engaging experience.
Fully equipped diving boat
For sea activities Cavo Diving uses a 12-seat diving boat designed to make dive operations easier and more comfortable. On board there are spacious areas for equipment, a hot-water shower and a lift to assist divers when getting back on board, particularly useful for those wearing full equipment or for guests with reduced mobility.
Respect for the marine environment
Cavo Diving promotes a responsible approach to the sea and encourages participants to observe and respect the marine ecosystem. The centre also takes part in Citizen Science initiatives and marine monitoring projects aimed at studying and protecting underwater environments.
With decades of experience and deep knowledge of the seabeds of the Island of Elba, Cavo Diving is an ideal choice for those who want to explore the sea of Elba through scuba diving, snorkeling and underwater training experiences.
