This scuba diving area takes its name from the inshore point , the most southern point of the Island of Elba. Scuba diving here is suitable for divers of every level due to the inshore enormous rocks.
If you swim down to a depth of 15 metres you will see the huge rocks where many small and medium sized groupers take shelter.
Keep going eastwards along the wall, that at one point opens up, and you can choose to go either direction. If you swim north/eastwards you will get to the steep wall of the sandbank that goes right down to a depth of 45 m, and here you will see the dens of octopus and moray eels. Here, where the water is of a deep blue colour, you will easily see many different species of fish swim by like amberjacks, bonitos, snappers and manta rays, while on the wall you will see red sea fans.
You need to be very careful here because the currents are very strong and this could make your scuba diving much more challenging.
