La Baia apartments are comfortable one-bedroom apartments located within a small residence approximately 100 metres from the beach, easily accessible on foot, in the small village of Bagnaia, overlooking the Bay of Portoferraio on the northern side of the island.
Bagnaia beach consists of sea-smoothed pebbles mixed with sand. Intimate and welcoming, it is the ideal setting for those who enjoy peace and relaxation without giving up a refreshing swim at any time of day. Bagnaia’s central location makes it possible to reach the lively towns of Porto Azzurro, Capoliveri and Portoferraio in just a few minutes by car; the distances are approximately 12 kilometres.
Guests will find a bus stop for Portoferraio approximately 150 metres away. On the beach there are beach establishments, sunbed and parasol hire, pedal boat and boat hire, a sailing school, a diving centre and a children’s play area. In the small village centre there are restaurants and pizzerias, bars and ice cream parlours, a minimarket and bazaar, as well as newsagents, tobacconists and a pharmacy. On Sunday mornings during the summer months, a traditional street market is held, and food events are often organised during the week.
