La Cota Quinta Apartament Rio nell'Elba

La Cota Quinta are exclusive holiday apartments in the heart of the typical Mediterranean bush in the Tuscan Archipelago National Park; they are at the top of sheer cliffs that lead directly to the beach and are perfect for lovers of sports and of the wild nature that is so typical of the Island of Elba.

All the apartments look down on the tiny and very quiet and peaceful tourist resort of the bay of Nisporto that is far from the hustle and bustle of the crowds, and here you will find minimarkets, restaurants and bars. Although the sands and shingle beach is only 300 metres long, it is free, but if you wish you can hire a sun umbrella, sun bed or pedalo, and there is also a bar and Diving centre.

The Cota Quinta was built in the 1960s and was much used as a setting by film directors. The residence stands on what is left of an ancient clay furnace and today consists of 10 different types of apartments (one-room, two-room and three-room) that sit on the hills that slope gently down as far as the sea; access to the residence is very easy, just follow the road.

Just walk down the steps that lead directly to the 2 private car parks; once there, you will find yourself in an enchanted, almost magical place where you can enjoy a truly relaxing and quiet and peaceful holiday with only the sound of the waves to lull you to sleep, and where the view of the sunrise over Portoferraio is breathtaking, as is that of the Islands of Capraia and Corsica.

The building is on more than one floor; each apartment has its own private entrance and a covered terrace with table and chairs if you want to eat outside, and from where the view is beautiful. All guests may use the solarium, barbeque and outdoor areas.

All the apartments have marine style furnishings, and are spacious and very comfortable; they also have air conditioning, sitting room, fully equipped kitchen, TV, bathroom with shower. Wi-Fi is free in the common area too.
