The building is a country house that has been recently renovated, and is in Via le Foci 25 in the municipality of Portoferraio.
Not only is the position of the B&B excellent and relaxing but it is also strategical if you want to reach all the most beautiful beaches on the Island; it is very easy to reach if you follow the main road from Bivio Boni (Via di Carpani) to Procchio because it is only 4 km from the port in Portoferraio as well as from the historical old part; the road is tarred for the first 300 mt then becomes a grit road in good condition for the last 100 mt.
The Conad supermarket is nearby, as well as a restaurant and a characteristic pizzeria.
The B&B is very central and from here a short, ten minute drive takes you easily to the main beaches in Portoferraio like Biodola, Le Ghiaie, Sansone, Capo Bianco, and Padulella.
There are numerous historical/cultural places of interest to be seen in the area like the Villa dei Mulini Napoleonic musem-house, his summer residence in San Martino, the Demidoff gallery and last but not least the Medici Fortress.
The Casa Gianfranca B&B consists of two double bedrooms plus a third double bedroom with an extra single bed: all three rooms have private bathroom, air conditioning, sat tv, mini fridge, coffee machine and kettle as well as bed linen and towels.
Breakfast is included in the price and is served in the specific room, or, if the guests prefer, on the terrace overlooking the garden; we offer home made products as well as a savoury breakfast and fruit.
The building also has a patio with a garden. Guests may use our free car park in the shade, access by which is through an electric gate whose remote control is given to the guests on their arrival.
