Fonte Murata B&B Bed & breakfast Portoferraio

Completely immersed in the lush nature, suspended between sky and sea, the Fonte Murata B&B enjoys a magnificent view of the gulf of Portoferraio.

Just 10 minutes from the capital and far enough from the crowds and frenzy of summer, the B&B is strategically located to reach the most characteristic beaches and places of the island.

The 3 double rooms, all with private bathroom, are different in style and features. For a specific choice, they do not have a television.

"Fiori" room

It is the most spacious of the three. Comfortable and bright, it is furnished with antique pieces combined with modern complements, with vivid colors. The room has a French door that overlooks a private patio with a view of the pool, a walk-in closet with a safe and mini fridge, air conditioning, kettle with tea set and a spacious bathroom with double sink, bidet, bathtub and shower.

"Lavanda" room

It is a lovely double room with a window overlooking the courtyard. The room is furnished with a restored wardrobe and a rustic writing desk. The coordinated colors reflect those of lavender. In the room, there are a safe, mini fridge and air conditioning. In the hallway of the room, there is a display cabinet and the bathroom has a shower and bidet.

"Erbe" room

It is the smallest of the structure, with a window overlooking the courtyard and shabby style furnishings. The room consists of a wardrobe and a writing desk, a safe, mini fridge and air conditioning. The bathroom with shower, adjacent to the room, is private but not internal and does not have a bidet.

The pool is set in a context of rare beauty; everywhere there are flowers, herbs, scents and silences. The view of the underlying gulf and the Volterraio castle is an invitation to practice meditative activities, such as yoga and reading.

A lounge with a television, fireplace and a large library is available to guests to spend moments of relaxation when the weather does not allow full enjoyment of the outdoor areas.

The kitchen is the heart of the B&B and is the place where Emanuela prepares her homemade buffet breakfasts: cakes, cookies, hazelnut cream, bread and jams, snacks and yogurt, finally fruit and locally produced honey.

From 8 to 10, you can enjoy breakfast in the garden, under the gazebo, and if the weather does not allow it, guests gather around the large dining table.
