Agriturismo dei Girasoli is located in Portoferraio, in the San Martino countryside, the place chosen by Napoleon Bonaparte for his summer residence. The location is very peaceful and quiet, surrounded by the farm’s vegetable gardens.
We are 5 km from the port of Portoferraio, in a strategic position in the centre of the island. Shops and restaurants are a 3-minute drive away.
Opened in 2020, it offers two accommodation units:
The Studio Apartment
Comfortable 25-square-metre accommodation located in the farmhouse, with a private entrance.
The Cottage
Charming 45-square-metre detached house with a large outdoor veranda, 2 covered parking spaces and an 800-square-metre fenced garden with an automatic gate, where four-legged friends are welcome.
The accommodation units have been renovated and are very well maintained. They feature a large garden, barbecue area, air conditioning, smart TV, internet connection and private parking.
The shared laundry room, equipped with a tumble dryer, is free of charge.
The renowned beaches of Biodola, Sansone and Capo Bianco are a 5-minute drive away.
The farm produces extra virgin olive oil, vegetables and natural oil-based cosmetics. On arrival, you will receive complimentary products made on the farm, which can also be purchased at the farm shop.
On request, we can organise customised boat trips and workshops on sustainable olive growing and horticulture.
