The Girasoli Farm Holiday Centre is in Portoferraio, in the heart of the countryside in San Martino which is exactly where Napoleon Bonaparte had his summer residence. The farm, surrounded by the orchards that are part of the farm itself, is in a very quiet and peaceful area.
Bear in mind that we are in a very strategic position because we are right in the centre of the island, only 5 km from the port in Portoferraio, and that shops and restaurants are only a 3 minute drive away.
It only opened last year in 2020 and consists of two main buildings:
The one-bedroom flat
The country house measures 25 square metres and has its own, private entrance
The Small Villa
This pretty detached house measures 45 square metres and also consists of a spacious veranda; there are 2 private parking spaces beside an 800 square metre garden with fencing all around and an electric gate, so if you have a dog and want to let it play outside it will be safe there. In the garden you will also have the use of a barbecue.
The rooms have all been renovated and furnished in great detail, and guests also have use of a smart tv; they all have air conditioning and internet connection.
There is also a shared, private launderette with a tumble dryer and both are free.
Biodola, Sansone and Capo Bianco beaches are only a five minute drive away.
Since we make and produce our own Extra Virgin Oil, and natural, oil based cosmetics on the farm you will be given a sample and free taste on your arrival, and if you wish you can purchase them directly from our sales point on site.
On request we can organize personalized boat excursions as well as a workshop where you can learn all about olive growing and how to grow crops in a sustainable way.
